This well-known podcast specifically covers tips for online poker games & tournaments so you can quickly put things in to practice immediately after listening. 

2 The poker coaching podcast with Jonathan Little

Who better to learn to improve your poker skills from than two time WPT champion and player of the year Jonathan Little. If you’re going to learn from anyone, a two time champion is surely a good start! 

With weekly episodes featuring information on such items of discussion as tactics and poker hand advice, along with some chatting, coffee and a little bit of life advice, this seems like an all round great podcast to start.

3 Smart Poker Study Podcast

Sky Matsuhashi is the host of the Smart Poker Study podcast. This article is a much more tactics and strategy focused podcast, featuring in depth guides and tips, along with interviews and discussions with famous poker players such as Alex Fitzgerald and Phil Ivey.

They also have a questions and answers section with listeners where if you have any questions or are just looking for some advice, you can put in your queries and you’ll get advice back from some of the best people in the game.

Hosted by Andrew Brokos and Nate Meyvis, Thinking Poker is one of the best podcasts on the scene. Featuring in depth analysis and strategy discussion on games and tournaments, along with great interviews with some of the best around. For people at the top of the game, they also have a high-level strategy segment where they discuss tactics for players at the peak of the game.

In the Mechanics of Poker Podcast, hosts Rene and Adam Carmichael interview famous poker players to discuss how they got so famous, what makes them tick and what obstacles they had to overcome throughout their life to get to the top. Kara Scott hosts the heart of poker podcast, where each week they interview famous poker players, using questions set out by psychologists to really understand their minds and how they work, something normal questions may not achieve.

Poker is a game that can be enjoyed by almost anyone, however just like any other sport, the pros are a cut above the rest. So getting to that level can be difficult, however with enough practice, determination and training, there’s no reason why players couldn’t achieve this.
